Description

This is a 16-week, part-time internship that includes a stipend at $400/week. The program is scheduled for the spring semester, with a tentative start date on January 26th, 2026.

The museum’s Gallery Programs team & Explainers Program is seeking an intern to help us tell STEM and history stories through thoughtfully designed digital education resources.   This position incorporates educational content development and graphic design to support the look and feel of a new virtual program, Journey to the Moon: NASA’s Apollo Program.  The intern will work collaboratively with educators and museum staff to design graphics and slides for this public show that support the program’s learning goals and capture the attention of elementary and middle grade audiences.

This interactive virtual program explores the excitement of the space race, the groundbreaking engineering behind the Saturn V rocket, and the mysteries of the Moon.  Our intern will gain hands-on experience designing engaging visuals for a digital learning environment while contributing to a program that inspires learners and promotes museum access.
