Mobile App Developer (Android) Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of Android applications.
  • Integrate Android apps with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Utilize cloud messaging tools such as Firebase for push notifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Any prior experience in Android app development would be great.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with Android SDK, multiple Android versions, and various screen sizes.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud messaging frameworks (e.g., Firebase).
  • Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and material design standards.
  • Any experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Any experience working in AI-based or SaaS product environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools for Android app development and deployment.
  • Any experience with app store publishing and managing release pipelines.
