This is year-round internship opportunity.

Job Description:

  • Support Development Quality Engineering Team and Plants with existing information and digital system
  • Develop Quality information software.
  • Learn current Quality systems
  • Develop skills necessary to be successful as a team member (communication, negotiations, problem-solving, leading small groups, etc.)
  • Other duties, as needed by the Quality Engineering team

Will acquire basic know-how of quality engineering process verification, line auditing, and understanding molding and assembly equipment, including:

  • Understand manufacturing processes and associated Quality systems
  • Understand connection in roles between technical development center and a manufacturing plant
  • Exposure to the automotive industry and PO operations

 

Personal Background

  • Pursuing a Bachelors in one of the below fields
    • Computer Science
    • Artificial Intelligence
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Proficient using MS Excel, PowerPoint, SQL Data Bases, Python, GitHub, JavaScript

 

Skills and Abilities

  • Systems integration
  • Organization skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic ability to navigate Internet and Intranet software packages
  • Ability to maintain working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Must be flexible & dependable
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills (English required)
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • Be willing to travel to manufacturing plants and customer / supplier locations
