AP Calculus Tutor

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and knowledgeable AP Calculus tutor to provide one-on-one academic support for a high school student. This is a part-time position ideal for a university student with a strong math background, particularly in calculus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly tutoring sessions (weekly, flexible schedule)
  • Assist with understanding key concepts in AP Calculus 
  • Help with homework, test preparation, and exam strategies
  • Adapt explanations to the student’s learning style and pace
  • Track progress and adjust approach as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Calculus (completion of AP high school or university-level calculus courses preferred)
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required
  • Comfortable working with high school students

Details:

Location: Washington, MI — sessions can be in-person or online depending on availability

Schedule: Flexible (after school/evenings or weekends preferred)

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, open to discussion
