Begins January 2026- Social Work Fellow- Investigative Services- Ursuline Support Services - Pittsburgh

Make a real difference in the lives of older adults while gaining hands-on experience in social work, advocacy, and nonprofit leadership! As a Protective Services Investigator Intern with Ursuline Support Services, you’ll help ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable seniors while learning directly from experienced social service professionals. 

This internship offers field experience, professional development, and cross-departmental shadowing—an incredible opportunity to explore careers in social work, psychology, or nonprofit management. 

Assist in receiving, screening, and documenting reports of suspected elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation. 

Observe and participate in investigations and client assessments alongside certified investigators. 

Shadow professionals across multiple departments, including Protective Services, Guardianship, and Community Outreach

Attend workshops, trainings, and conferences focused on aging, advocacy, and protective services. 

Support marketing and communications efforts to raise awareness about elder protection and community resources. 

Join executive and team meetings to learn how nonprofit programs are managed and funded. 

Contribute to special projects, data tracking, and client care planning.
