Change the world. Love your job. As a Mechanical Design Engineering intern, you’ll work directly with optical and electrical engineers to create system and component mechanical designs and prototypes. Mechanical designs will require detailed tolerance analysis and the generation and testing of thermal designs for DMD chip and illumination sources to meet consumer and automotive requirements. A typical finished project will be a prototype and/or EVM, often with direct customer engagement and/or placement on TI.com for broad market adoption. Join our team and support DLP® Display & Performance projection markets with mechanical reference designs and proof-of-concept prototypes. Interact with hardware and software design teams to assist in the overall development of the optical system.
