Built in the 1920s by Matilda Dodge Wilson, the Hall is a premier venue for weddings, celebrations, and community events, located right on the Oakland University campus in Rochester, MI.
Position Overview
We’re looking for enthusiastic, detail-oriented team members to help bring events to life at Meadow Brook Hall this summer! As a Seasonal Event Assistant, you’ll support our sales and events team with planning, setup, and day-of coordination for weddings, receptions, and special events.
Perfect for students interested in event planning, hospitality, or communications, this role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, fun, and historic setting.
(Evening and weekend shifts required based on events.)
What You’ll Do
- Help set up and oversee weddings and events throughout the Hall and gardens.
- Greet and assist guests, vendors, and clients with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ensure event spaces look their best—clean, organized, and ready to impress.
- Support the event coordinator with timing, logistics, and client requests.
- Provide occasional office and sales support as needed.
