Position Overview:
As a Corrective Actions Program Intern you will assist with procedure revisions, report generation, data entry, work with metrics data, and participate in quality improvement initiatives in a nuclear environment.
Interns must have strong attention to detail, as well as excellent critical-thinking and some information technology experience. A Corrective Actions Program intern should be able to communicate effectively and use logical judgment, especially when dealing with adjustments and meeting deadlines.
Location:
On-site in Erwin, Tennessee.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a B.S. degree in Information Technology.
- Requires U.S. Citizenship with (no dual citizenship)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation and previous employment reference verifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
