Intern - Retail Marketing & Strategy

INTERN – RETAIL MARKETING & STRATEGY

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Contribute to Nintendo’s Retail Marketing & Strategy team that manages the brand vision at retail, developing marketing strategies for in-store and online placements on product launches 
  • Gain a deep understanding of the video games and entertainment retail space to help shape our marketing approach 
  • Conduct marketing research and analysis on campaigns and brand positioning at retail 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive various retail marketing activities 
  • Leverage data to uncover key insights that will inform and influence future marketing strategies  

 

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3.0+ GPA 
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a graduation conferral date between May 2026 and June 2027 
  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, or related field 
  • Curiosity to learn and share unique knowledge and insights with the team 
  • Shows initiative, action-oriented, and applies critical thinking 
  • Communication and collaboration skills to partner with stakeholders across departments 
  • Adaptable and eager to learn in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift 
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to assist with project management  
  • Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States 
  • Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship between June 15 – August 21 
  • A completed Internship Questionnaire following application 

 

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. Housing and travel support will be provided for non-local hires.
