Intern - Copy Writer

INTERN – COPY WRITER

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Contribute to Nintendo’s Digital Marketing Content team providing copywriting for digital consumer touchpoints, including game and promotional landing pages on Nintendo.com, email campaigns, Switch News, Play Nintendo and many more 
  • Understand our audiences and how our content impacts specific customer journeys 
  • Help refine and update our content style guide with recommendations  
  • Collaborate on writing short-form digital copy, including web content such as curated lists, product descriptions and game marketing 
  • Gather and present potential solutions for content gaps within our site 

 

 

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3.0+ GPA 
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a graduation conferral date between May 2026 and June 2027 
  • Pursuing a degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Digital Marketing or related field 
  • Familiar with copy writing and editing  
  • Familiar with copy style guides such as the AP or Chicago guides 
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into easily readable content 
  • Strong interest in digital marketing and online communications 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Provide a portfolio of work sample to showcase skills 
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States 
  • Able to work 40 hours a week onsite throughout the course of the 10-week summer internship between June 15 – August 21 
  • A completed Internship Questionnaire following application 

 

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. Housing and travel support will be provided for non-local hires.
