About Hemmy Productions
Hemmy Productions is an independent film and media company developing the feature film For Love of the American Dream and its sister documentary-interview series Spotlight: Voices of the Dream.
The Spotlight series celebrates influential artists, musicians, and activists who use their voices to shape culture.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Development Intern to assist in packaging Spotlight: Voices of the Dream for studio presentation to Imagine Entertainment and other major production companies.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn firsthand how to prepare a professional pitch for a high-profile entertainment company — from creative concept through presentation materials.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the producer to refine the series concept and pitch deck.
- Help organize the creative treatment and packaging language for potential network submission.
- Research industry trends, similar formats, and studio submission protocols.
- Assist with layout, visual structure, and summary writing for the series pitch materials.
- Help manage digital materials for creative, legal, and investor readiness.
Learning Outcomes / Experience
Interns will gain real-world experience in:
- Series Development & Packaging: Understanding how ideas move from concept to studio-ready presentation.
- Creative Producing: Working directly with a producer on professional studio pitch materials.
- Industry Research: Learning how to position projects for major entertainment companies.

Qualifications
- Film, Television, Media Studies, Communications, or Entertainment Business major (or related field).
- Strong writing, visual, or organizational skills.
- Interest in producing, development, or entertainment management.
