Camp Videographer

Camp Skylemar, a residential summer camp in Maine, is looking for a creative and talented Videographer to capture the heart, energy, and unforgettable moments of life at camp.

This is a unique opportunity for a college student or recent graduate with experience in filmmaking, content creation, or media production to build their portfolio while being part of a mission-driven, spirited community. Our goal is to produce daily highlight reels and a memorable end-of-summer video that reflects our values of growth, friendship, fun, and excellence.

🎬 Job Responsibilities:

  • Shoot and edit daily highlight videos showcasing camp activities, spirit, and community
  • Capture a wide range of footage: sports, arts, water activities, adventure, and candid moments
  • Create a polished end-of-summer video for campers and families
  • Organize and maintain digital assets for use in marketing and social media
  • Work collaboratively with the Photography & Media team
  • Ensure all equipment is well cared for and backups are made regularly

🎓 Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, microphones, gimbals, and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects)
  • A creative eye and strong storytelling instincts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and willingness to live/work in a camp setting
  • Experience working with children or in fast-paced environments is a plus

💰 Compensation & Perks:

  • Starting salary: $3,000+ (based on experience)
