Job Summary
The Capital Markets Intern will work closely with the investments team to support research, analysis, and execution of transactions in equity, debt, and alternative markets. The intern will assist in monitoring market developments, building financial models, and contributing to the firm’s capital raising and advisory activities. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to global financial markets and the mechanics of institutional investing.
Job Responsibilities
- Research capital market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and financial instruments.
- Support the preparation of market commentary, reports, and presentations for internal and client use.
- Assist in financial modeling, pricing analysis, and valuation of securities, funds, and investment vehicles.
- Monitor debt and equity markets, including IPOs, bond issuances, and secondary market activities.
- Help develop pitch materials, investor decks, and transaction summaries for capital raising efforts.
- Participate in due diligence and risk assessment for ongoing and prospective deals.
- Maintain databases and dashboards that track market performance, deal flow, and investor relations activities.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, investment products, and financial instruments.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data platforms.
- Excellent analytical, research, and quantitative skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
