Data Analysis and Research Intern
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES
As a Research Intern, you will assist the research team in conducting surveys, data analysis, and qualitative research. You will gain hands-on experience in the research process, from data collection to analysis, helping the team synthesize findings and contribute to reports and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, distribution, and analysis of surveys to collect valuable data.
- Support qualitative research tasks, including conducting interviews, focus groups, or literature reviews.
- Help analyze and interpret survey results, research data, and qualitative insights.
- Assist in organizing and cleaning datasets to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries based on research findings.
- Collaborate with the team to identify key insights and trends in the data.
- Assist with any administrative tasks related to research projects, including scheduling interviews or preparing research materials.
- Contribute ideas for improving research methodologies and processes.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

On-site Supervision and Support
Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance.
Academic Credit
Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.
