Sales Intern - Schaeffler Group (Vitesco Technologies)

General Information:

This is a great opportunity for junior and senior university students looking to gain professional experience in the automotive industry supporting a sales team of 20. The position is hybrid with our office located in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Flexible scheduling to accommodate your course schedule. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Business development support
• Sales/volume planning support
• Purchase order distribution management
• Monthly order intake reporting
• Assistance with the tooling collection invoice process
• Market analysis project support
• Customer presentation support
• Coordination of customer prototype orders
• Customer account portal management
   

Your Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field.
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams proficiency
• Think-Cell knowledge
• Self-starter and team player
• Strong communication skills
• Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Able to work well in a remote team environment - Preferred 
• Currently enrolled in local university, junior or senior - Preferred
• Ideal candidate would work full-time May through August, part-time throughout the school year - Preferred 
• Must be authorized to work in the US
