Junior Software Developer

Grand Rapids, MI (Hybrid)

Contract (40hrs week) with liklihood of permanent placement

Start Date: December 8, 2025

 

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our large grocer client in Grand Rapids, MI. This role focuses on building and maintaining applications using the Microsoft .NET framework within a cloud-based Azure environment. You will collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications and APIs using C# and .NET Core.
  • Work within Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Storage, etc.) to build cloud-native solutions.
  • Implement secure and efficient integrations between applications and Azure resources.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Assist in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance using Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and reliability in the Azure environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies in .NET and Azure to recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Basic experience with C#, .NET Core, and object-oriented programming.
  • Internship in a Software Development related role highly preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
