OPERATIONS MEDIA SALES INTERN 

New York City, NY

THE RUNDOWN 

Playfly Sports is looking for an Operations Intern to join our team in New York. Within our 10-week paid Playfly Summer Internship Program, you’ll be immersed in the business side of sports and join our team of talented professionals. Through hands-on experience, projects, and mentoring, you’ll learn the fundamental skills and knowledge it takes to have a career in sports while developing yourself professionally and personally. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH  

  • Develop an understanding of Playfly’s integrated Linear & Digital offerings and assist in the fulfillment of ad orders from initial placement to paid invoice.   
  • Manage the changes to the MLB game schedules for 29 teams. 
  • Support in the posting process to ensure the commercials aired as slated. 
  • Provide administrative support across all Playfly Media departments to maintain critical operating systems & processes.   
  • Collaborate on special projects with the Playfly Business Operations team when required. 
  • Perform data entry and analytics as needed.  
  • Attend all internship events and participate in projects and assignments. 
  • All other job-related duties as assigned. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Preferred areas of interest: Marketing, Advertising, Sales, Strategy, Sports, Innovation 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills 
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to work as a member of a team and individually 
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities 

 

INTERNSHIP DETAILS & APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY 

  • Preferably entering senior year of bachelor’s program, with a graduation date of December 2026 or later 
  • Must be available to work June 8, 2026 – Aug 13, 2026, 32 hours/week, Monday – Thursday 
  • Interns will be paid an hourly rate of $17 
  • Candidates are strictly limited to applying to a maximum of TWO positions
