Wastewater Engineering Intern
Summary
We are seeking a motivated Intern to join our team for the summer. The intern will assist professional engineers and technical staff with the design, analysis, and operation of wastewater treatment systems and infrastructure projects.
Job Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities associated with wastewater engineering, including, but not limited to: meeting attendance and note taking, responding to information requests, gathering information, performing misc. field work, reviewing drawings and specifications, working on departmental standards, developing spreadsheets or documents, working with operations and maintenance crews in troubleshooting, reviewing O&M manuals, reviewing historical information on our facilities, assisting engineers and project managers, performing misc. office work as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
At the time of application, applicant must:
• Currently enrolled in an associates, bachelors or master’s degree program with an accredited college or university
• Currently enrolled in a related degree program to the internship in which they are applying
• A student in good standing and classified by their institution as a rising sophomore or higher
• Able to commit to working at least 20 hours per week
• Able to commit to the intern position for a minimum of two months

Valid Driver's License
