Industrial Waste Intern

Summary

The Industrial Waste Group intern will assist the Operations Manager in performing surveys of Industrial Sources, Statistical evaluation of Sample Analytical Data and preparation of project scopes and reports for grant project.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Survey of User Sources (Industrial/Commercial) - Using commercial listing to identify unknown users, notify of Pretreatment Requirements and document findings.
• Compile and analyze Sampling Program Quality control/Assurance data, and prepare reports
• Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about Industrial Waste Control and other functional areas of GLWA

 

Required Education and Experience

At the time of application, applicant must:

 

• Currently enrolled in an associates, bachelors or master’s degree program with an accredited college or university

• Currently enrolled in a related degree program to the internship in which they are applying

• A student in good standing and classified by their institution as a rising sophomore or higher

• Able to commit to working at least 20 hours per week

• Able to commit to the intern position for a minimum of two months

 

Other Requirements:

Valid Driver's License
