Role & Responsibilities: The LVMH North America External Relations department is currently seeking a summer intern interested in managing incoming requests from media outlets and event organizers for interviews, articles, and public speaking engagements. This involves assessing the relevance and priority of each request, ensuring alignment with LVMH's brand messaging, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders. They will keep a detailed log of all requests to maintain transparency and track trends in media inquiries. Additional responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Assist in organizing events, including brand showcases, networking opportunities, and press-related trips. This involves coordinating logistics, liaising with vendors, and ensuring events meet LVMH's high standards of excellence.
- Perform research, collect data and draft briefing materials and presentations to provide context and insights for participants.
- Foster strong, positive relationships with communication teams across various LVMH Maisons. This includes regular check-ins, sharing best practices, and assisting with cross-brand initiatives.
- Help organize activities or digital content that engage and connect the LVMH community, amplifying brand values and collaborative spirit.
- Work closely with the Paris-based team, aligning on key strategies and updates.
- Attend virtual meetings, sharing progress on U.S.-based initiatives, and seeking guidance to ensure all actions are consistent with the broader corporate vision.
- Assist in adapting global communication strategies to fit the North American market.
Qualifications:
Passionate about crafting and sharing stories, appreciative of heritage and craftsmanship.
Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize.
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, discretion.
Interest / proficiency in French is appreciated but not required.
Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the United States. This internship requires being willing and able to relocate to New York for the full duration of the program, and relocation will be the responsibility of the intern. Compensation for this role is fixed and non-negotiable.
