Financial Planning & Analysis Summer Intern 

Job Title: Financial Planning & Analysis Summer Intern

Role & Responsibilities: The LVMH North America Finance department is currently seeking a summer intern interested in financial reporting and regional performance analysis. We are searching for a candidate currently working towards a degree in Finance or related field who would like a chance to develop their technical and professional skills. This is an opportunity to apply academic learning in a real life, on the job setting, supporting a dynamic team. You will have the chance to interact with and learn from a variety of finance and supporting functions as well as meet with members of Senior Management. Additional responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:  

  • Shadow finance team with various tasks such as analyzing commercial reports, macro and competitor analysis, and relationship management. 
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across various financial systems, including PowerBI implementation, testing, and reconciliation. 
  • Assist Finance Analyst on data consolidation for monthly and ad hoc reporting. 
  • Work with cross-functional business partners to follow up on requests as necessary (e.g. real estate/digital). 
  • Support Finance Analyst on market analysis including city and channel performance. 
  • Analyze relevant topics in the luxury sector. 
  • Manage other ad hoc projects such as creating presentations, meeting minutes, or additional analysis for internal meetings and stakeholders. 

Qualifications:  

  • Currently pursuing a degree in finance or a related field such as economics, accounting, or business administration. 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc). PowerBI experience a plus.  
  • Proactive and willing to learn in a fast-paced setting. 
  • Able to manage priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines . 
  • Enjoy working in a team environment. 
  • Interest in luxury industry preferred but not required. 

 

Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the United States. This internship requires being willing and able to relocate to New York for the full duration of the program, and relocation will be the responsibility of the intern. Compensation for this role is fixed and non-negotiable.
