About Hemmy Productions
Hemmy Productions is an independent film and media company developing original scripted and unscripted content. We are currently producing a new talk-show series and preparing a network pitch package. We are looking for a creative Trailer Editor Intern to help shape the official series trailer that will be included in our pitch to industry executives.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Trailer Editor Intern to edit a 1–3 minute trailer using provided footage, voiceover, and script notes. This trailer will be featured in our official pitch package submitted to networks and streaming platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to expand their portfolio, gain real-world editing experience, and receive meaningful credit on a professional project.
Responsibilities
- Edit a short trailer (1–3 minutes) for our new talk-show series
- Work with provided footage, script, and creative direction
- Incorporate music, pacing, storytelling, and rhythm suitable for a network pitch
- Collaborate with the producer through feedback rounds
- Export final deliverables in required formats
Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Basic knowledge of editing, transitions, audio balancing, and color correction
- Strong sense of storytelling and timing
- Ability to follow creative direction while bringing your own ideas
- Reliable communication and ability to meet flexible deadlines
- Portfolio or samples of prior editing work (class projects are fine)
