Software Developer Intern

Kwik Trip Inc. Become part of our fast paced, guest centric Information Technology Department and receive hands-on work experience by supporting our Application Development Team.  This individual will work on projects as directed by the Back/Front End Applications Supervisor. 

Regular tasks include:

  • Harvest old Dotnet applications.
  • Create incident reports from ServiceNow as needed.
  • Work on agile principles
  • Application testing

Qualifications:

  • Student obtaining an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Software Developer
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following program languages: SQL, HTML, JAVASCRIPT, CSS, C+ or .NET
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of Web concepts and terminology
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Accurate and attention to detail; self-motivated
  • Ability to resolve high priority issues
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Ability to maintain confidential information

Work Schedule: This is a paid internship.  Interested candidates must be willing to work 20+ hours per week Monday through Friday during the school semesters and 40 hours during school breaks.  It is important to note that we offer flexibility with school scheduling. Note:  Applicants must be currently attending school for Computer Science or Software Developing.
