Opportunity: Implement a ready-made, research-driven strategic plan to generate real traction for a growing children’s comfort-and-wellness brand.

✨ Project Overview

Kobe’s Story-Time Plush-Tales began with a simple but powerful wish from my granddaughter:
“Nanna, I wish you could be here every night to read to me.”
That moment sparked the vision for a therapeutic, comfort-focused, connection-building plush that now includes stories, music, personal messages, and a new upgraded design .

The recent UTDsolv Capstone Team developed a strong foundation for Kobe’s marketing and visibility. They identified our core challenge—visibility—and created a blueprint for expanding Kobe into homes, schools, hospitals, airports, therapy centers, and nonprofit spaces across the country .

Now, we’re seeking the next team of students to take that strategic foundation and bring it to life.

🎓 What This Handshake Role Offers Students

This is a hands-on, real-world marketing experience where your work will directly shape the national rise of a children’s therapeutic product with multiple avenues of impact.

Students will:

1. Implement the Visibility & Marketing Recommendations

You will execute the research-backed strategies prepared by the previous capstone team to grow Kobe’s online presence and reach key audiences such as:

Schools & educational leaders

Hospitals & child-life specialists

Caregivers & therapists

Nonprofits supporting children & families

Airports and travel-related spaces

General retail consumers

(These audiences are outlined clearly in the attached summary.)

2. Develop New Creative Campaigns

Build campaigns that amplify Kobe’s therapeutic, comfort, emotional-support, and educational purpose.

3. Strengthen Kobe’s Position as a Household Name

Help elevate Kobe into a trusted national brand—an opportunity very few student projects offer.

4. Work Directly With the Founder

You’ll collaborate with me personally as I scale the brand, giving you mentorship, business insight, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on a children’s wellness product.

5. Build a Portfolio of Real Outcomes

Your deliverables will be measurable—from website growth and engagement to outreach success and new visibility partnerships.
