2/13 Strategic Partners operates as a wealth management team within Hightower Advisors, a leading advisor-owned financial services company recognized by Inc. This growth focused team provides financial planning and wealth management services to corporate executives, business owners and high net worth households. 2/13 Strategic Partners currently consists of 17 investment professionals located in Wayne, PA and serves approximately 250 families and has over $1.5 Billion in client assets and has been recognized by Forbes and Barron’s as a Top 1,200 financial advisors since 2009.
The 2/13 Strategic Partners intern's main objective is to support and assist each business unit leader. This individual should be energetic, conscientious, and a team player, as well as passionate about learning more about the financial services industry. Preferably, a junior or senior undergraduate. This is a growth opportunity to learn and work in a fast-paced, growing environment. During our team’s internship, our intern will have exposure to miscellaneous experiences and/or projects in each business unit of the firm (Operations, Marketing, Investments, and Advisory) in addition to understanding our business development and client experience processes.
Responsibilities/Desired Skills & Experience:
- Provide support to the Wealth Advisor team by gathering and organizing client meeting materials; participate in client review meetings and help coordinate any follow-up with the Client Service Team.
- Provide support to Client Experience Team including but not limited to: daily compliance operations, reporting, ad hoc research, other projects.
- Assist the Portfolio Manager with market research, fund analysis, and due diligence requests.
- Assist advisors with documenting financial plan questionnaires and help organize client documents as received.
- Audit CRM data and assist with information clean up and/or updates. Manage client information to ensure data is organized, complete and secure.
- Assist with marketing efforts such as email campaigns, event planning, content and, client gifting.
- Assist with administrative functions: such as answering the phone, responding to basic client inquiries, etc.
- Participate in internal research projects and special client assignments as needed.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Perform other related administrative duties.
