This position will be based out of Marshall+Sterling’s Poughkeepsie and Yorktown Offices.
As a Culture and Engagement Intern, you’ll play an important role in shaping how our employees stay informed and connected. Internal communications is the heartbeat of our corporate culture—bringing people together across teams, offices, and roles while delivering the messages that matter most.
What You’ll Do
- Event support (creating materials and helping organize the Summer Picnic and sales events.
- Staff communications support (newsletter content creation and internal email messaging).
- Lobby screen content design (creating digital displays to keep staff informed).
- Video creation for training and internal communications (filming, editing, and production support).
- Social media content creation (writing posts, capturing photos/video, and posting on internal “community” platforms and Handshake)

Requirements
- Enrolled in a relevant degree program.
- Working knowledge of basic office procedures, Internet, and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work effectively and relate well with others including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- High level of organizational ability with attention to detail.
