Housekeeping Supervisor Internship
This paid summer internship is designed for a college student, undergrad or individual seeking a career in hospitality and looking to step into a housekeeping supervisor position.
- The Housekeeping Supervisor Internship is a full-time summer season position offering an opportunity to gain knowledge of the resort and hospitality industry.
- This internship will focus on supervising and cleaning condos as well as coordinating daily housekeeping operations, conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas, management of inventory and equipment and more.
- You will gain knowledge in the behind the scenes aspect of hospitality and work closely with the housekeeping manager and other supervisors to create a lasting memory for guests and positive work environment for fellow co-workers.
- Internship will focus on the housekeeping portion of hospitality but may also include shadowing other departments as occupancy allows.
A successful candidate must have professional etiquette in a resort, service-oriented setting. You will work closely with key members of staff, valued clientele, and members of the community. At times, confidentiality is required.
* Employer is paying 50% of provided housing *
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays throughout the summer
- Excellent computer, verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn
- A proactive, service-focused attitude towards clients and candidates and the teams you support internally
- The ability to work with and lead a team
- Must abide by confidentiality agreements
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and a robust/resilient attitude towards challenges
