IT Assistant Co-op
Summary: The IT Assistant/Co-op will assist the Information Technology team in providing technical support (helpdesk), maintaining systems, and contributing to IT projects. This role offers hands-on experience in troubleshooting and technology implementation within a professional environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, peripherals, and software applications.
- Help monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and security tools.
- Document processes, create user guides, and update IT knowledge base.
- Support IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Occasional travel to other offices for IT related equipment set up and/or support.

- Passion for learning and growing technical skills to support different applications, workflows, and hardware.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common productivity tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with help desk systems or ticketing tools.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Physical Effort:
- Physical agility to allow movement from place to place.
- Physical strength to lift and transport computer materials and tools.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers.
- Moderate level of physical exertion required.
- Ability to provide your own transportation required.
