Perfecti is a restaurant technology startup building tools that improve guest–server communication and elevate the dining experience. Our platform blends iOS apps, AI-assisted development, and intuitive UX to solve real operational problems for restaurants and their guests.

This internship offers hands-on experience working on a new live consumer-facing iOS app currently in the Apple App Store.

Position Overview

We’re looking for an iOS App Development Intern to help finalize and enhance Perfecti’s iOS app while also supporting updates to our WordPress-based marketing landing page sites.

You’ll work directly with the founder on real features, real releases, and real users — not sample projects.
 

What You’ll Work On

Building and refining features in a Swift / SwiftUI iOS app

Debugging, testing, and improving app performance

Assisting with TestFlight builds and App Store submissions

Working with Firebase (auth, database, push notifications)

Using AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code) to accelerate development

Maintaining and updating WordPress landing pages

Supporting site performance, security, and responsive UX

Required / Preferred Skills

We do not expect mastery — but you should be actively learning or have hands-on exposure.

iOS App Development (Primary Focus)
 

Please briefly describe your comfort level with:

Swift / SwiftUI

Xcode

Git & GitHub (version control)

Firebase (auth, database, hosting, or notifications)

iOS app lifecycle basics

TestFlight and App Store submission concepts

Certificates, provisioning profiles, and signing (familiarity preferred)

Web / Landing Page Support (Secondary)

WordPress (themes, plugins, content updates)

HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

Responsive design principles

Website performance, security, and SEO basics

Minimum Requirements

Current Freshman or Sophomore majoring in Computer Science or a related field

Interest in mobile app development for iOS

Willingness to learn, iterate quickly, and work on real production code
