Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and coordinating local events, networking mixers, and community programs.
Support communications and marketing initiatives, including social media content creation and email campaigns.
Conduct research on local businesses, economic trends, and community initiatives to inform projects and reports.
Help manage member databases, maintain records, and provide administrative support to staff.
Assist in drafting newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials for members and the public.
Participate in meetings and provide input on outreach and engagement strategies.
Support partnership development by liaising with local businesses and community stakeholders.
Contribute to special projects aimed at promoting local business growth and community development.
Requirements:
Must live in the greater Oxford, MI area; preference given to students residing in the Village of Oxford or Oxford Township.
Preference also given to students studying Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Economics, Nonprofit Management, or related fields.
Must demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Hours & Schedule:
Flexible schedule, typically 8-12 hours per week within Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Schedule can be adjusted to accommodate classes or other commitments.
