Education Intern – Children’s Program

As an Education Intern in our Children’s Program, you’ll work directly with students with disabilities in both educational and community settings, supporting individualized learning and development. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain meaningful experience while helping students thrive. You will have the opportunity to meet graduation and practicum requirements!
Location: Brewster, MA
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:00am-3:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- In cooperation with Special Education teachers, plan and implement classroom-related activities
- Supervise students during classroom and school-based activities
- Work collaboratively with team members to implement IEP objectives
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the classroom
- Record behavioral progress in individual tracking logs on a daily basis
- Understand and implement the school’s behavior management program

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to physically intervene in instances of behavior that may jeopardize the safety of students and staff
- Ambulatory ability sufficient to meet physical demands of the role
