Position: Development & Pitch Writer (TV Network Package)

Hemmy Productions is seeking a strong writer/editor to assist with the final polish of a television pitch package for Spotlight, an original interview series currently being prepared for network and production company consideration.

This role is focused on development and presentation, not scriptwriting. The selected candidate will work closely with the producer to refine an existing package — sharpening language, tightening structure, and ensuring the vision is communicated clearly and professionally for industry executives. The Development & Pitch Writer will collaborate with a visual designer to ensure the written material aligns cleanly with the overall presentation and layout of the package.

Responsibilities:

• Review and polish an existing TV pitch package
• Strengthen clarity, structure, and flow
• Align tone and language with network expectations
• Help ensure the package is concise, compelling, and executive-ready

Qualifications:

• Strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to work with existing material and direction
• Interest in television development and producing
• Familiarity with pitch decks or TV packaging is a plus
