Information Technology Summer Intern

Summary:

Toyoda Gosei North America (located in Troy, MI) has an opening for an Information Technology Summer Intern. The selected candidate will perform functions under the direction of the Manager CIS, and is responsible for providing end user and general CIS support for Toyoda Gosei (TG) group companies (plants) throughout North America.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve end-point issues, installation and support of systems, and day-to-day operations
• Monitor and support manufacturing floor data processing needs, hardware maintenance, and implementing changes
• Support network maintenance processes and initiatives
• Complete variety of projects and other duties as assigned, and learn how the CIS Department contributions to the overall success of the business.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Minimum of 2 years’ undergraduate studies completed
• Coursework towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking or Information Systems
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite 2016 or newer
• Ability to collect data and consolidate to build reports for management review
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, printers, email, and phones; escalate as needed
• Excellent organization and communication skills required
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented
