2026 Summer Intern, Program Specialist (Los Angeles)
Join our Los Angeles team as an Engineering Intern, supporting outreach and sales planning for Absorption Heat Pumps. This internship offers hands-on experience in market analysis, sales strategy development, and technical outreach, directly contributing to our business growth in the region.
This is an entry-level, 10-week, full-time internship expected to begin in June and end in August. Pay is expected to be $23 per hour. This role can be remote from anywhere in the US. We are unable to provide housing nor relocation assistance for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Research and analyze market trends, customer segments, and competitive landscape for Gas Absorption Heat Pumps in the Los Angeles area.
- Sales Plan Development: Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to define and refine outreach and sales strategies, including lead generation, customer targeting, and value proposition messaging.
- Technical Outreach: Assist in preparing technical presentations, product literature, and outreach materials tailored to prospective clients and partners.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Account Management, and Engineering teams to align strategies and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Reporting: Summarize findings and present actionable insights to team leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- MEA Program Support: Provide clarity on supporting the MEA program’s pipeline in 2026 and report at a high level on progress to the Account Manager (AM) and Project Manager (PM).
- Contractor Coordination: Support outreach efforts with designated contractors (Bateman and Innovative) to facilitate installations and ensure timely submission into the pipeline.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 30 completed college-level credit hours (preferably in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field)
- Candidate must be a US citizen, reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S. per contract requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to support contractor coordination and Account Manager outreach efforts
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
- Interest in becoming a subject matter resource on gas absorption heat pumps and related sales enablement strategies
- Familiarity with HVAC or energy systems (especially Absorption Heat Pumps)
- Familiarity with energy efficiency programs and related initiatives
- Experience with market research or sales planning projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to attend occasional meetings at Los Angeles, CA office
