Computer Science Majors - Summer Intern (Revised)

Status is Onsite in Sunrise, FL

Rhythm Innovations, an emerging software company based in Southern Florida, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer intern to join our engineering team. We value ownership, curiosity and “leaning by doing” environment. As a summer intern you’ll be working closely with experienced engineers and will be contributing to our live projects. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Computer Science major with a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, AWS, Python and cloud technologies to join our team. This role involves working with our engineers to test, design, build, and improved applications and systems used by real users. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in design, development and testing of software applications. 
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers.
  • Work with large datasets for training, testing, and validating models.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
  • Participate in system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Contribute to software documentation and testing.
  • Research emerging AI and cloud technologies to support innovation initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, similar.
  • A good understanding of Python, Java, or C++ or similar.
  • Coursework or project experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Data Science.
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services.
  • Basic understanding of data pipelines, and API integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive learner with a passion for AI and cloud technology innovation.

Please note, this is not a remote internship. Candidates must be able to perform the internship onsite, Monday - Friday in our Sunrise, Florida office during the summer months.
