We provide mentored deployment services to Cisco channel partners - working side-by-side with their engineering teams during live customer deployments to implement best practices and accelerate adoption of complex Cisco technologies.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a hungry, ambitious go-getter who wants real sales experience and genuine responsibility. You'll be doing actual business development work - connecting with enterprise clients, managing our operational workflow, and driving revenue growth.

What You'll Actually Do
Partner & Cisco Sales Development (50%)
Your primary targets:
- Cisco channel partners (VARs, MSPs, integrators) working on complex deployments who need expert mentoring
- Cisco Systems Engineers (SEs) and Account Managers who can recommend MINT services to their partners
- Cisco Global Partner Organization teams and channel managers
Your daily sales activities:
- Research and identify opportunities - which Cisco partners are doing SD-Access, ISE, ACI, DNA Center, security deployments?
- Cold outreach - LinkedIn connections, emails, calls to partner organizations and Cisco SE teams
- Educate on MINT value - explain how mentored installs work and why our deep expertise matters
- Set qualified meetings - get partners and Cisco teams on Zoom/WebEx with our technical leaders
- Build relationships - this is long-term relationship selling, not transactional
- Track opportunities - maintain pipeline of partner prospects and Cisco SE connections
- Follow up persistently - nurture leads, chase down responses, keep conversations moving
- Support deal progression - help scope projects, coordinate with partners ordering MINT SKUs from Cisco GPL
What you're selling:
- Mentored installation services where our ex-TAC engineers work alongside partner teams
- Knowledge transfer during live customer deployments
- Risk reduction and faster deployment success
Administrative & Operations Support (35%)
- Track active MINT engagements - follow up with engineers and partners on project status
- Maintain documentation - project notes, partner communications, engagement summaries
- Support billing - help track MINT SKU orders, coordinate invoicing with partners
- Schedule coordination - manage calls, meetings between our team and partner/Cisco contacts
- CRM management - keep partner pipeline and engagement tracking updated
- Partner onboarding support - help new partners understand how to order and work with us
- Cisco SE relationship tracking - maintain connections with Cisco internal teams who refer business
Marketing & Partner Engagement (15% - Optional)
- LinkedIn activity - engage with Cisco partner ecosystem, comment on relevant posts
- Content sharing - share success stories, MINT deployment highlights
- Track partner conversations - identify opportunities from social listening

🌎 Flexibility:

- Flexible hours around your class schedule
- Some availability during US business hours (8 AM - 6 PM Central/Eastern) for partner/Cisco calls
Time Commitment
- 20-30 hours per week during school year (flexible scheduling)
- 25-40 hours per week possible during summer break
- Some calls during US business hours as needed
- Minimum 3-month commitment (6+ months preferred - relationships take time to build)
