Job Title: Pool manager
Location: Various multiguard pools
Duration: 4-5 months (May-September)
Work hours: 40h per week

Responsibilities
- Assist with daily pool opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor pool activities and support the lifeguard team in enforcing safety rules.
- Conduct or assist with water quality testing, equipment checks, and chemical log documentation.
- Assist in coordinating staff schedules, ensuring compliance with break policies, and supporting the staffing coordinator in creating weekly schedules and managing day-to-day scheduling tasks.
- Provide customer service by assisting patrons and helping resolve minor concerns.
- Participate in rescue-readiness drills and assist during incidents or emergencies under supervision.
- Help maintain facility cleanliness, restock supplies, and support overall operational upkeep.
What You’ll Gain

- Familiarity with lifeguard equipment, incident reporting, and operational documentation.

Qualifications
- Age 18+
- At least 1 year of lifeguarding experience.
- Interest in aquatics, recreation management, operations, or leadership roles.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a safety-focused environment.
- Willingness to participate in rescue-readiness and emergency response training.
- Professionalism, reliability, and comfort working outdoors or in aquatic settings.
- Vald ARC Lifeguarding/First Aid & CPR/AED for Lifeguards Certification (if not certified, please visit our training page for more information about certification and recertification classes)
- Bloodborne Pathogens Certification
- Pool Operator Certification
