Business Operations & Research Intern

Position Type: Internship (For Academic Credit)
Academic Credit: Up to 4 credits (with academic approval)
Hours: 15–20 hours per week, flexible based on academic credit requirements

Role Overview

This for-credit internship provides students with hands-on learning in business research, data organization, and sales operations support within a consulting environment. Interns will work under supervision on structured research and administrative projects that directly support go-to-market and growth initiatives.

This role is educational in nature and emphasizes applied learning, accuracy, and professional standards rather than employment.

Learning Responsibilities

Interns may support projects such as:

  • Researching and validating company contact information using publicly available sources
  • Identifying and documenting business phone numbers and organizational details
  • Supporting lead enrichment and CRM data preparation initiatives
  • Organizing and maintaining structured research outputs and documentation
  • Following defined research methodologies and quality standards
  • Documenting sources, findings, and confidence levels for research results
  • Learning ethical data research and information validation practices

Learning Objectives

By the end of the internship, students will:

  • Understand foundational business research and sales operations concepts
  • Develop attention to detail, data accuracy, and quality control skills

Eligibility & Academic Credit
