Content Creator Intern (Social Media & Video)
Eisenhower Dance Detroit is seeking a Content Creator Intern to support the company’s marketing social media presence through videos and engaging, mission-driven content. The Content Creator Intern is a creative person who loves capturing movement, creating and editing reels/videos, and creating content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
This internship offers hands-on experience creating social media content for a professional dance organization, from filming rehearsals to editing short-form videos and publishing posts to creating infographics and flyers.
Must be available:
Mondays (via Zoom): 10:30am-11:30am
Tuesday and Thursdays (in-person): 11:00am-1:00pm
Responsibilities
Social Media Content Creation
- Record and capture video content at rehearsals, performances, events, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Create short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Stories
- Create and publish social media posts, including captions, hashtags, and basic graphic elements
- Write engaging captions that reflect EDD’s mission and culture
- Maintain a consistent visual and style that reflects EDD's mission and brand
Posting & Platform Management
- Schedule and post content across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Assist Marketing Director with maintaining a consistent posting schedule
Creative Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing Director and leadership staff to identify compelling content ideas
- Participate in brainstorming for campaigns, post, and community outreach
- Help translate artistic work into engaging, accessible digital content
Analytics & Engagement
- Track basic engagement metrics (views, likes, shares, saves)
- Support data-informed adjustments to improve reach and engagement
