Project Management Internship

Position: Project Management Internship

Location: Glen Arbor, MI (Hybrid) 

Summary of Position: 
Cherry Republic is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Marketing team with a focus on project management. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and seeing complex projects through from start to finish. This is a temporary position that will tentatively run mid-May through mid-August. 


About the Role (Responsibilities):
This internship will focus on project managing two key internal initiatives within our Marketing department:

       1. Process Creation & Documentation

  • Help design and document clear, repeatable processes for managing food and non-food products
  • Support the organization and standardization of image files and related assets
  • Assist in defining how work flows from intake to execution across team

         2. Legacy Data Migration

  • Help move existing (legacy) product and image data into newly defined processes
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and organization during the transition
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement along the way

This role will work closely with the Marketing team and cross-functional partners, gaining real-world experience in how projects move inside a fast-paced, multi-channel brand.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):  

  • Strong interest in project management, operations, or marketing
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail 
  • Comfortable managing tasks independently and tracking progress
  • Self-directed, with the ability to ask questions and take initiative 
  • Tenacious follow-through - you don't drop balls and you close loops
  • Clear communicator, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, shared documents, and digital tools (experience with project management tools is a plus, but not required)

  • Education / Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be enrolled in a Business, Project Management, Marketing, or related program at an accredited college or university.
