Early Career Talent - Software Engineering (Apps)
- BS/MS students or Graduates with graduation dates bewteen Dec 25 - May 26
- Right to work in the US without requiring Western Digital to commence or sponsor an immigration case to employ you (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration case).
- Fluency with programming languages such as C/C++
- Software testing background with experience developing automated test script and experience with test development, test plan creation, and developing automation software is strongly desired
- Familiar with micro-processors and microcontrollers, knowledge of ARM a plus
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded firmware
- Clear understanding of basic Boolean logic, be familiar with C/C++ syntax
- Bonus (not required): knowledge/experience with interface bus analyzers, SATA/SAS, script languages such as Python and TCL.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical skills in area of study
- Interest in HDD,semiconductor, components, nonvolatile memory industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Interest in data analysis
