Job Summary
As a Summer Intern at Black & Veatch in Financial Applications Portfolio Management team in Overland Park, KS. you will play a meaningful role in addressing some of the world’s most critical infrastructure challenges. Key Responsibilities
- To demonstrate leadership and adaptability, with the willingness to take ownership of Projects and tasks
- Support development project plans and execution of deliverables such as resources, timing/milestones, and risks
- The ability to achieve goals and success across functionalities
- Ability to research key business issues and help team determine and implement options to address issues
Learning Opportunities:
- Assist with Oracle Fusion Future Capability Roadmap
- Assist with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Implementation Project
- Review Oracle Fusion Administration Best Practices with Recommendations
- Support Remediation of Finance Application Vulnerabilities
- Perform Monthly License Usage Analysis
- Assist with Success Navigator discovery and implementation
- Assist with ITGC Back Up Data Solution Project
- Support Implementation of Teams Integration with Oracle
Preferred Qualifications
- Working on Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related major
- Finance or Accounting interest, Finance technology.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns in data and produce relevant visualization.
- Ability to research business issues
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and the desire to learn.
Minimum Qualifications
Current enrollment in Information Technology or related degree program. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
This internship position is expected to be in the office on a full-time basis.
