Marketing Data Analytics Intern

We are hiring a Marketing Data Analytics Summer Intern to learn and grow through hands-on experience in our Brand Experience & Communications team. You will apply your insights to the intersection of space, technology and furniture, helping individuals and teams in leading companies around the world to have a better day at work. We pursue innovation, strive for sustainability, and develop insights in every part of our business.

What You Will Do:

  • Advance the Brand & Communications team in its analytics journey by tracking performance and developing measurement plans for various go-to-market initiatives
  • Work with Digital Experiences team to convert data into insights for the broader organization
  • Develop tools for specific projects with the intent of holding teams accountable to business objectives
  • Work with leadership to assess AI usage and identify opportunities to implement stronger AI platforms
  • Grow your technical and interpersonal skills by working with project teams to solve real-world problems
  • Gain experience from a cross-functional global team and a dedicated mentorship

  • Qualtrics

Your Future Team:

The Brand Experience & Communications team leads all internal and external communications across our global organization. We are a team of storytellers that craft and deliver compelling, omnichannel messages to our diverse audiences. From sales presentations and research articles to product promotions and showroom experiences, we create and curate the messages that help all our audiences view Steelcase as a leader who can help organizations address the transformation of work.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • In pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree at a nationally accredited program.
  • Able to independently manage new project work and facilitate change management when introducing new processes
  • Naturally curious and able to learn quickly
  • Experienced in data collection and building analytics dashboards
  • Able to translate data and metrics into meaningful and understandable insights for stakeholders with varying levels of data understanding
  • Confident and persuasive public speaker
  • Analytical experience, interest and passion for solving business problems creatively
  • Reliable transportation (many of our sites do not have public transportation available)
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The company will not offer sponsorships or work visas now or in the future for this role

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Major: Business Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Communications with an emphasis on Data Analytics
  • Rising Junior (May 2028 Graduate) and/or Rising Senior (May 2027 Graduate)
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms like Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms like HubSpot, Hootsuite and Campaign Monitor a plus
