Financial Analyst Internship
Placement Overview
Reservoir Media Management, Inc. is seeking a digital operations intern to support the team as our catalog volume continues to increase. The intern will support efforts across distribution, catalog takeovers, and neighboring rights. The internship program is a maximum 12-week, part time, paid program and students may earn college credit upon completion of the internship. Internships can take place either fully in person or hybrid in person/remote.
Financial Analyst Intern Rotation:
Financial Analyst interns will rotate through several areas of the department. Responsibilities may include:
- Performing detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses of music catalogs, companies, and joint ventures to assist the acquisitions team in evaluating investment opportunities.
- Participating in due diligence efforts including royalty, operational, and legal analysis to determine risk and confirm valuation assumptions.
- Working cross-functionally with internal teams (royalties, copyright, accounting, legal, etc) to drive post-closing integration efforts and manage transition of assets.
- Creating data dashboards that consolidate and organize business KPIs to come up with actionable analyses.
- Conducting music industry research to help support potential deals and strategic business decisions.
- Building data driven case studies for various teams within the Reservoir publishing and recorded businesses to support key financial and operating decisions.
