Our Internship
Intern will work for our VP of Sales and Marketing and Marketing Director at our main office in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This intern’s primary goal will be to collaborate on marketing content from brainstorming ideas, designing graphics and videos, drafting copy and contributing to our Vlog series. Intern should be comfortable interviewing various team members and have a passion for converting internal information into dynamic media.
In addition to the duties stated below, we expose our interns to many other aspects of the homebuilding business. They will be exposed to how our managers work as a team (Weekly Huddle Meeting), develop our floorplans (Monthly Product Development Team), how our finances work (Finance Team Monthly Meeting), how we select our properties to build and develop (Land Acquisition Team), be exposed to our construction process, our sales process and meetings on personal and professional development (with Dave Robertson).
Skills and Traits
Good communication skills
Detail Oriented
Organized
Passion for content creation including video and social media
Knowledgeable in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, social media and graphic design softwares.
Adobe Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop and Premiere experience preferred.
Tasks-
Shadow VP of Sales and Marketing and Marketing Director to learn about customer facing side of our business from initial marketing efforts to engage prospective buyer inquiries to final purchase decision.
Utilize Realcomp for running area competition analysis reporting
Assist VP of Sales and Marketing with daily administrative needs
Maintain sales office marketing materials needs and supply ordering
Assist with social media strategy and implementation
Assist with website content creation and upkeep
Assist with sales office and model home coverage as needed
