Learning Experience

The Partnerships, Sponsorship & Licensing Internship at Zoo Media provides hands‑on experience in developing, managing, and optimizing brand partnerships, sponsorship activations, and licensing agreements. Interns will work closely with Zoo Media’s leadership and partnership teams, gaining practical insight into how creative organizations build sustainable collaborations and expand their reach.

Responsibilities

Sponsorship Activation

• Support the development and execution of sponsorship activation plans for Zoo Media programs, digital events, and creative initiatives.
• Assist in coordinating sponsor‑related activities and ensuring partnership deliverables are met.
• Help maintain alignment between sponsor expectations and Zoo Media’s mission‑driven brand identity.

Licensing & Partnership Agreements

• Contribute to the preparation, negotiation, and execution of licensing agreements with partners, creators, and vendors.
• Assist in maintaining relationships with licensing partners, distributors, and collaborators.
• Help track licensing assets, usage guidelines, and brand compliance.

Proposal Development

• Assist in creating partnership proposals, sponsorship decks, and licensing presentations for potential collaborators.
• Research market trends, youth‑focused initiatives, and digital media opportunities to inform proposal strategies.

Data & Performance Analysis

• Analyze partnership performance metrics and sponsorship outcomes.
• Assist in preparing reports that evaluate the effectiveness of collaborations and identify areas for improvement.
• Communication & Relationship Management
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all partnerships.
• Support communication with sponsors, partners, creators, and licensees.
• Help maintain organized documentation and partnership records.

Requirements

• Availability for team meetings: 

Mondays at 9:00am MST, Wednesdays at 10:00am MST, Fridays at 8:00am MST

SkillBridge participants also meet Thursdays at 9:00 AM MST

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Interest in brand partnerships, sponsorship strategy, licensing, or creative business development.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and performance metrics.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and aligned with Zoo Media’s mission of empowering youth and creators.
