We’re seeking a curious, technical, and forward‑thinking AI Systems Integrator Intern to help design, implement, and refine AI technologies across Zoo Media’s digital ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with developers, data specialists, and UX designers to build intelligent systems that respond to users, personalize learning, and streamline creative workflows.

What You’ll Do

AI Integration & Development

  • Integrate large language models (LLMs) into interactive platforms, backend tools, and digital learning environments.
  • Support the development of AI‑driven dialogue, adaptive character behavior, and automated feedback loops.
  • Assist with prompt engineering, NLP workflows, and conversational interface design.

AI Agents & Intelligent Systems

  • Create AI agents for training simulations, creative learning tools, and digital support systems.
  • Help develop machine learning models for recommendations, decision‑making logic, and personalized learning pathways.

Technical Implementation

  • Integrate RESTful APIs and custom scripts into Unity, Unreal, or web‑based environments.
  • Work with open‑source AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or LangChain.
  • Support performance tuning, model evaluation, and optimization for engagement and efficiency.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work with developers, UX designers, and content teams to ensure AI systems enhance user experience.
  • Participate in Agile workflows, sprint planning, and collaborative problem‑solving.

You’ll Learn To

  • Apply prompt engineering and LLM tuning to real educational and creative use cases.
  • Use open‑source AI frameworks in production‑level projects.
  • Integrate AI into interactive engines (Unity, Unreal) and web platforms.
  • Measure model performance and fine‑tune for usability, safety, and engagement.
  • Balance innovation with accessibility, compliance, and user‑centered design.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or another relevant programming language.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and frameworks.
  • Interest in AI for interactive media, education, or creative tools.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Availability for team meetings:
    • Mondays @ 9:00 AM MST
    • Wednesdays @ 10:00 AM MST
    • Fridays @ 8:00 AM MST
    • SkillBridge: Thursdays @ 9:00 AM MST

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience with AI chatbots, generative media, or conversational interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, or web‑based AI integrations.
  • Background in simulation logic, game AI, or natural language generation.
  • Knowledge of tools like OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, or Pinecone.
