Position Summary

We're looking for a Data Science Intern to assist our analytics team in collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets. This internship provides hands-on experience with real-world data science projects while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

Hybrid or remote options available.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources
  • Apply statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to identify patterns and trends
  • Assist in developing and implementing machine learning models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
  • Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations
  • Present insights to stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • Strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, and programming
  • Proficiency in Python or R and familiarity with data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
  • Experience with SQL and database management
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in team settings

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
  • Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Previous coursework or projects in machine learning
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
