Summer SEL Counselor

This role combines traditional summer counseling with hands-on experience in social-emotional learning (SEL) using evidence-based practices. Counselors support children with disabilities during our 7-week residential program, assisting with daily activities, personal care, and recreational routines while helping carry over therapeutic goals throughout the day.

As part of the SEL internship, counselors work closely with the Children’s Services Director to implement camp-wide SEL programming, reinforce skills with staff, and observe camper growth in social-emotional skills and resilience. This position is ideal for students in social work, counseling, psychology, education, or related fields seeking meaningful, practical SEL experience.  Room and board included.
