Sales Associate - Commission Based Internship

Michigan Shadow Hockey Club (Semi-Pro Hockey Team)

Position Purpose

The Michigan Shadow Hockey Club is seeking a motivated Sales Team Interns to help grow fan engagement, ticket sales, and brand awareness. This role combines sales outreach and community engagement support to strengthen the connection between the team and their fans both online and in person.

Key Job Duties

  • Assist with ticket sales, promotions, and fan outreach initiatives
  • Promote games, special events, sponsorships, and community appearances
  • Engage with fans online and at events to build excitement around the team
  • Support marketing campaigns, giveaways, and game-night activations
  • Track engagement metrics and assist with reporting performance insights
  • Represent the Michigan Shadow Hockey Club professionally at games and events

Job Requirements

  • Availability for a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, event nights, and game nights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in sports, marketing, or sales
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Qualifications (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Pursuing or recently completed studies in marketing, communications, sports management, business, or related field
  • Sales, customer service, or promotional experience
  • Passion for hockey or live sports entertainment
  • Must be 18+ to apply
  • Have a high school diploma, GED, or a higher level of education
